The Clara golfer finished with a four under par 68 to finish on -15 for the tournament. The result earned him €226,367 and moved him up to 21st on the Race to Dubai. It also brought his winnings for the year to over €950,000.
It will also see him rise further up the Official World Golf Rankings.Having started the four days with a level par 72, Lowry shot up the leaderboard on Friday with a bogey free eight under par 64. He followed that up with a 69 on Saturday before finishing with the 68.
The tournament was won by Peter Hanson on -21 who was one shot ahead of Rory McIlroy. Third was Luke Donald with Ian Poulter climbing up to fourth with a final round of 65.
