SHANE Lowry has climbed into the top ten going into the final round of the Spanish Open in Barcelona.
The Offaly golfer shot a third round of two under par 70 to move up to tie for sixth place on four under for the tournament. His round included five birdies and three bogeys.
The tournament is lead by Thomas Aiken on eight under par with four players in a group two shots back on six under par.
A damper has been put on the event by the death of Spanish legend Seve Ballesteros. Flags are flying at half mast at the course as a mark of respect to the golfing legend at the age of 54 in the early hours of the morning.
