SHANE Lowry will be in the last group out in the final round of the Iberdrola Open in Majorca after a stunning seven under par 63 in his third round on Saturday.
The round equaled the course record and catapulted the Offaly golfer from 32nd to a share of second alongside Darren Clarke on five under.
The pair are four shots behind tournament leader Chris Wood who consolidated his position with a one under par 69, his third under par round in a row.
Spanish legend Jose Maria Olazabal is just a shot behind Lowry and Clarke.
Shane Lowry’s round included six birdies, an eagle with just one bogey at the ninth.
Shane has been in a rich vein of form in recent weeks and if he can repeat Saturday’s performance on Sunday, he could be in line for his second win on the European Tour.
