Lowry drops back at Irish Open

A two over par 74 on Saturday has dropped Shane Lowry down the leaderboard at the Irish Open at Carton House.

A two over par 74 on Saturday has dropped Shane Lowry down the leaderboard at the Irish Open at Carton House.

The Offaly golfer sits on five under par after three rounds in a share for 21st place, eight shots behind leader Joost Luiten.

Lowry started well with a birdie on the second but he didn’t have another for the remainder of the round but he dropped shots on 6, 10 and 17.

Spaniard Pablo Larrazabal is in second place a shot off the lead with Robert Rock two shots further back on ten under.
