Pauline Curley is 10K queen

On what was a busy weekend for road racing, Pauline Curley was crowned Queen in the King and Queen’s 10k race which was held on Sunday last in Portarlington.

On what was a busy weekend for road racing, Pauline Curley was crowned Queen in the King and Queen’s 10k race which was held on Sunday last in Portarlington.

Hosted by St Michael’s Athletic Club, 11 of our athletes supported the popular event. David McPhearson (Kilkenny City AC) was overall winner in a time of 32.39, while Dave Fox was first Tullamore Harriers athlete, in 6th place, in a time of 35.43. 2nd Lady was Maire Triona Keane with a time of 38mins.

Overall times ; Dave Fox 35.43, Pauline Curley 36.21, Jody O’Reilly 36.51, Maire Triona Keane 38. Ian O’Kelly 38.25, Michelle Mullaney 41.06, Andy O’Grady 43.15, Mags Grennan 48.45, Charles Malone 49.33, Damien Mangan 1.02.23, Sandra Busteed 1.05.22
