Offaly's Niall McNamee to talk about tackling adversity through sport during Laois Connects

'Overcoming Adversity Through Sport' is the name of talk by by Offaly inter-county footballer Niall McNamee during Laois Connects.

Laois Sports Partnership are delighted to hosts the workshop on Sport & Wellbeing as part of their Active Communities initiative in Stradbally, Vicarstown & Timahoe.

The Rhode and Offaly player has spoken openly about his gambling addiction and over the past number of years and he has been giving talks about how his involvement in sport has helped with his journey.

Niall will speak about the benefits of sport on a person’s wellbeing. Niall has considerable experience in keynote speaking at a wide variety of conferences and events.
