Leading manufacturer, Grant Engineering has announced a significant investment into the research and development of two new state-of-the-art heating appliances, the Grant Vortex Blue Max and the revolutionary Grant VortexAir Hybrid.
The addition of these new appliances will see the manufacturers heating technology portfolio expand by 50% and create further export potential for the Irish company.
This announcement comes soon after the investment made by the company to expand its manufacturing facilities in Birr, Co. Offaly, to support further growth in operations due to increased demand both locally and internationally.
Using Grant’s patented, award winning Vortex technology, the new Grant Vortex Blue Max incorporates a blue flame Riello compact burner and provides a new generation of clean burning and low emission boilers. The product’s innovative design demonstrates how modern oil-fired burner technologies can deliver and sustain cleaner, reliable heating, with a high efficiency rating which will meet EU emission requirements in future years.
Reinforcing Grants position as a leader in their sector, the new Grant VortexAir Hybrid is set to revolutionise the heating industry by combining the trusted attributes of the Grant Vortex condensing oil boiler with the green advantage of an Aerona³ inverter driven air source heat pump, which Grant has sold for many years as a standalone heat pump in the UK. Through using two heat sources to maximise system efficiency, the VortexAir Hybrid offers an innovative solution to homeowners when seeking a sustainable alternative to boiler replacements with minimal disruption to the home. It also helps those building a new home to meet the renewable obligation that is required under building regulations.
Grant Engineering Founder, Stephen Grant said, “The launch of our new technologies signals the rapid growth that Grant is currently experiencing, as demand for our high quality, reliable, and innovative heating solutions continues to increase both locally and on an international level. These new lines also demonstrate our proactive approach to maintaining marketplace competitiveness and upholding Grant’s leading position at the forefront of heating and energy technology manufacturing in Ireland. ”
These new Grant products are available from plumbing and heating merchants throughout Ireland. For further information visit www.grantengineering.ie
