Offaly company plays role in Munster county's GAA gate receipts topping €1 million

Future Ticketing extends contract with Clare GAA
AN Offaly-based company has been acknowledged for its role in helping Clare GAA's gate receipts surpass €1m.
Future Ticketing, an Irish-owned international ticketing software and services enterprise headquartered in Tullamore, has extended a partnership with Clare GAA which began in 2023.
Ann Marie Moran, head of operations with Clare GAA said: “Future Ticketing greatly assisted us with our online ticketing in 2023 and since then we have been very impressed with the level of support from the company and Future Ticketing’s awareness of our needs here in Clare.”

Future Ticketing said the extended multi-year collaboration with the Banner County underscores how successful the relationship has been.
Future Ticketing said that with its cutting edge, Irish-developed software, Clare GAA attained full control of its ticketing three years ago and quickly saw the benefits of the system, including enhanced revenue access, ease of ticket purchase for supporters and data ownership.
Future Ticketing said the flexibility of its technology enables the implementation of custom-built solutions for individual County Boards.
Greg Walker, client success manager with the company said: “In Future Ticketing we are proud of our deep understanding of Gaelic games so we were delighted last year to create and implement a seating plan for the Clare county finals, thereby ensuring an even better experience for supporters on the showpiece days for clubs in football and hurling.”
Mr Walker added: “GAA fans were able to buy their tickets instantly online, and for the County Board, access control on match day was robust with quick and easy entry to the ground thanks to the Future Ticketing handheld scanners.”
Future Ticketing has been a sponsor of hurling and football leagues in Clare through the willwego.com Clare and Cusack Cups with this year’s competitions beginning in March.
For 2026, Clare GAA has introduced a 'Season Card' for the club leagues and championships. This card includes a head and shoulders picture of the holder to facilitate identification and Clare GAA say it will ensure easy access to all club matches in the county, adult and underage.
Future Ticketing said it has a growing cohort of GAA partners and the agreement with Clare GAA follows recent confirmation of a new partnership with Laois GAA and deals with other County Boards across the country.
By using Future Ticketing's technology, event hosts can sell tickets directly through their own websites or apps.
Along with GAA counties, the Tullamore company's ticketing technology is used by clubs in the League of Ireland and the Northern Ireland Football League as well as Connacht Rugby.
Numerous football, rugby, rugby league and ice hockey clubs across the UK are also clients.
Future Ticketing is the industry leader in horse racing, with Leopardstown, Cheltenham, Aintree and Epsom among its partners, plus racecourses in France, the United States and Australia.
It is also very active in ticketing for major outdoor events including the National Ploughing and the Tullamore Show.
The company recently announced that events hosts can add a feature to their app which will allow people attending to order food and drinks from their seats.
