The weather forecast for the weekend from Met Eireann is for a mild weekend although it will be cloudy with rain around at times.

The weather forecast from Met Eireann for Saturday is for some mist or drizzle at times but most places will be dry during the day. More general rain will develop along the west coast by evening. Mild and breezy with highs of 10 to 12 degrees in southerly winds.

The weather forecast from Met Eireann for Saturday night says it will be mild, breezy and mostly cloudy. Many areas will be dry apart from a little drizzle. However, rain will develop in the west overnight. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees with moderate to fresh southerly breezes. 

The weather forecast says Sunday morning will be wet for a time in all areas as rain spread eastwards across the country. Sunny spells and showers will follow for the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees with fresh southerly winds. 

The weather forecast from Met Eireann for Monday is for a bright day with sunny spells and some scattered showers. These will be mainly in the west and north. It will be mainly dry further east. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with moderate west to southwest breezes. On Monday evening and night, a band of heavier showers will move down from the northwest and will clear overnight.
