Weather forecast from Met Eireann for the coming days

The weather forecast from Met Eireann is for temperatures to continue to be above average for the time of year with plenty of dry weather in the coming days but with rain around at the weekend.

The weather forecast from Met Eireann says that Wednesday will be a breezy day. It will be largely dry but rather cloudy with just a few sunny spells. Top temperatures will be a few degrees above normal for the time of year at between 11 and 13 degrees in fresh to strong southerly winds.

The weather forecast from Met Eireann says that Wednesday night will be a mostly dry night with a few clear spells developing. Lowest temperatures of 7 or 8 Celsius. Winds mainly light to moderate southerly in direction but fresh to strong along coasts.

The weather forecast for Thursday is for mainly dry conditions to continue with just a little patchy drizzle or mist showing up along southern coasts. Some sunny spells developing through the course of the day. Mild with highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees with a moderate to fresh south to southeast breeze but fresh to strong at times along coasts. Dry Thursday night apart from a little patchy drizzle in the north. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 Celsius in a moderate southeast breeze but strong along Atlantic coasts.

The weather forecast from Met Eireann says that current indications suggest a weather front will push in from the Atlantic on Friday bringing outbreaks of rain and drizzle. The rain mainly affecting the western half of the country with somewhat brighter and drier conditions in the east to start the day. A little drizzle will edge further east later in the day but overall a good deal of dry weather away from the west and northwest. Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 Celsius in moderate to fresh south to southwest breeze. Friday night will see a little patchy rain or drizzle along Atlantic coasts but elsewhere a good deal of dry weather. Lowest temperatures of 9 or 10 Celsius with a light to moderate southerly breeze but fresh along coasts.

The further outlook for the weekend from Met Eireann says that there will be a good deal of dry weather on Saturday apart from an isolated shower. Southerly breezes moderate to fresh in strength but strong along Atlantic coasts. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 Celsius. Overnight lows of 8 or 9 Celsius with outbreaks of rain and drizzle occurring.

The weather forecast from Met Eireann says that current indications suggest a band of rain will cross the country on Sunday but it will clear later in the afternoon and some sunny spells will develop. Highs of 9 to 12 Celsius with moderate southwest breezes. Cold and dry overnight with lows of 1 to 5 Celsius with some frost possible in the south and southeast.
