According to Met Eireann, most areas will stay dry today, with some hazy sunshine in the east and south. However it will be cloudier in other areas with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, mainly affecting the northwest and the very west of Connacht.
Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees Celsius. It will become blustery everywhere with fresh and gusty southwest winds; windy up along west and north coasts.
The national forecaster, it will be rather blustery tonight with rain and drizzle moving in across much of the north and west, with persistent and heavy falls across coastal areas in particular. Mild, in a moderate to fresh and gusty southwest winds, with overnight lows of 9 to 13 degrees Celsius.
