Senior management of local industries along with emergency services and hospital staff are staying

The Tullamore Court Hotel
A Tullamore Hotel is getting all hands on deck to help out during the current severe weather spell which has left roads across the county impassable.
Senior management of local industries along with those from the emergency services and hospital staff are staying in the Tullamore Court Hotel.
To help people work, communicate with outside agencies and stay in touch with their loved ones, the WiFi has been boosted in the hotel.

Other people staying include loyal customers who live alone and who sought the services of the hotel. Also staying are members of the public who are visiting seriously ill patients in the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore. As the hospital serves a demographic of over 400,000 people they travel from far and near and it’s those that were traveling from far that have become stranded and are now staying in the Court Hotel.
The General Manager, Philip O’Brien, is busy ferrying people to and from the hospital and work places.
Philip commented, "it’s amazing the way people have pulled together and to see the commitment from all emergency services including HSE and Council Council staff but also to the Court Hotel staff who are staying in house to guarantee services to those that are in need."
