Offaly school assigns work for students during snow storm

One Offaly school has dampened the joy of their students after today's announcement confirming that'd be off until Monday.

All Offaly schools, along with other counties in Munster and Leinster, will be closed on Thursday and Friday due to the Status Red weather warning in place for both provinces.

Thousands of students spent today out inn he snow and may well have had similar plans for the rest of the week.

However, Colaiste Choilm Secondary School in Tullamore has landed a block of revision work online for their students to do during the snow storm.

Using their online portal for students, at least five teachers uploaded a number of revision assignments in subjects like maths, English and Irish.

In fairness, most of the work is assigned to leaving cert students, but we can't imagine students are too pleased with the news.

The post about the work from the school on Wednesday evening has notably received no comments.

Lay low lads - pretend you didn't see it!
