Offaly County Council have told the public not to be alarmed if they see a drone hovering over Tullamore in the next two weeks.

The Environment Section of Offaly County Council will be carrying out a drone survey on the Tullamore River from Cloncollig to Kilcruttin over the period.

It is expected that this work will be complete on or before December 6, 2017.

The purpose of the survey is to assist with the future development of the town and the river.

If you have any further queries in relation to this contact the Environment Section on 05793 57403.
