Much of Offaly is still under a blanket of fog and frost this morning making driving conditions difficult in many places.

Some back roads have icy patches and drivers are being advised to slow down and take care on these roads.

On the main roads, motorists are being asked to put on their fog lights in affected areas but to remember to turn them off once foggy patches are cleared.
