Gardai treating death of man in field as suspicious
He had apparent gunshot wounds

The discovery of a man's body in a field on the Meath/Kildare border this afternoon is being treated as suspicious.
He was found in a field in Co Meath between Leixlip and Dunboyne just after midday, according to RTE News.
Gardaí have not yet positively identified the man, but they believe it could be a man reported missing yesterday.
Meanwhile the man's car has been found in Leixlip.
According to RTE the victim was in his twenties.
Officers from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau believe they prevented an attempt on his life earlier this year when they arrested two men in west Dublin and seized a handgun.
The scene has been preserved.
The Garda Technical Bureau is due to carry out a forensic examination at the scene and gardaí at Ashbourne, County Meath are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
