Trip to Wexford up next for Offaly champions Rhode

After their impressive win over Ferbane in the Offaly Senior Football Final on Sunday, Rhode begin their quest for an elusive Leinster Senior Club Championship with a trip to Wexford on October 30.

Paschal Kellaghan's side will face the newly crowned Wexford champions Gusserane O'Rahilly in Wexford Park.

Gusserane O’Rahilly’s ended a 41-year wait for a title in Wexford with a miraculous victory over Glynn-Barntown on October 9. Trailing by five points entering the final quarter, Gusserane O’Rahilly’s kicked the last four points to seal the win.

Also on this side of the draw are Kildare champions Sarsfields, Wicklow champions Baltinglass, Louth champions Sean O'Mahony's and whoever prevails in the Meath final between Donaghmore/Ashbourne and Simonstown Gaels.

That final is also fixed for October 30 and the winners of the game will play the winners of Gusserane O’Rahilly’s and Rhode in the quarter-final.
