Fashion to feature at National Ploughing Championships with incredible prize for Best Dressed 'Country Style' Lady
Specially featured Fashion Shows will continue to be a key attraction at the National Ploughing Championships taking place in Offaly again this year.
With each show lasting over an hour, fashion followers will be treated to all the latest styles and designs of the coming season.
Shows take place daily at 11.30 am, 1.30 pm and 3.30pm on the site in Screggan with the Holman Lee Model Agency partnering the NPA once again this year. Fashionista Celia Holman Lee will act as compere during each show, with models taking to the catwalk to model the latest lines and designs.
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, will sponsor the National Ploughing Championship’s popular Best Dressed ‘Country Style’ ladies competition on Wednesday 19th of September in Screggan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly. A judging panel will announce the winner with a prize worth €7,000 up for grabs. The exclusive prize includes two return flights from Dublin to Abu Dhabi, a two-night stay in the luxury 5-Star Emirates Palace, a two-night stay in the prominent 5-Star Anantara Eastern Mangroves & Spa Hotel and two complimentary passes for Yas Island.
Not only out to spoil the ladies that attend the National Ploughing Championships on Wednesday, the men too are in for a designer treat! The Most Appropriately Dressed Gentleman will receive a prize of a stay in the exclusive Wineport Lodge nestled on the banks of Lough Ree, in Athlone County Westmeath, plus a bespoke custom-made suit sponsored by Master Tailor himself, Louis Copeland.
Throughout the day, undercover judges will be circulating throughout the site on the look-out for potential winners, so dress to impress! If you are handed a finalist tag, please make sure to be at the Fashion Show marquee at 3.30pm for the judging.
Coupled with all this style and elegance, there will be numerous fashion/clothing outlets taking stands at this year’s event showcasing country clothing, footwear, raingear, hats, gloves, sports gear, menswear, children’s fleeces, work wear, ladies shoes, bags/purses and much much more.
Looking forward to this year’s event, Managing Director, Ms Anna May McHugh said “We have a world of fashion at the championships this year and as in previous years, it is a must attend event for those wishing to catch a glimpse of what will be on the fashion rails for the coming season.”
