First And Second Year Boys Basketball
On Thursday March 3rd Our 2nd Year Boys Basketball team lost out 44-29 to Killina SS in Banagher College Sports Hall. The team included Jan Palacz, Kedagh Broderick, Josh Horan, Ben Hurst, Oisín Lankoandé, Rian Glynn Dolan, Colm Sheahan, John Gohery, Thomas Spain, Alejandro Lebrusán Suesca, Daniel McDonald, Cameron O'Sullivan, Killian Fitzgerald & Sean Lyons.
Our First Year Boys Basketball Team, which also just lost out 28-20 to Killina SS, included Leon Kelly, Ricky Daly Lyons, Killian Fitzgerald, Thomas Spain, Sean Farrell, Rían Kenny, Ruairí Kelly, Paddy Moran, Robert Purcell, Colm Sheahan, Eoghan Higgins Keane, Patrick Donaghy and Alex Slevin.
First Year Boys Gaelic Football
Our First Year Boys team had a good win over in the First Round of the 13-a-side Brother Hubert Cup on Wednesday March 2nd when they beat Dunamaise College Portaoise 5-8 to 4-5 in Banagher.

Minor Camogie
Our Minor Camogie team opened their Leinster campaign on Monday 7th when they had a good win over Mountrath CS in Banagher. Their second game was an away fixture to Castlecomer CS and again they came away with a win.
Their third fixture against Coláiste Naomh Cormac will also be played in March.

First & Second Year Hurling
In the third round of the First & Second Year Hurling league in Banagher on Thursday March 10th, a last minute goal by Heywood CS deprived the home team of victory, on a scoreline of 2-10 to 2-8.
Having played with the wind in the first half, Banagher College led 2-5 to 0-3 at half time but Heywood piled on the pressure after the break and two goals in the last six minutes sealed victory for the visitors. Banagher must now await to see if they go through on score difference or qualify for the Shield Competition.

Junior Gaelic Football
Our Junior Footballers were very unlucky to lose out 3-4 to 2-6 against Mountmellick CS in the North Leinster D Semi Final in Banagher on Tuesday March 8th.

St Rynagh’s Camogie
Banagher College wish to congratulate the St Rynagh’s Camogie Club on the marvellous achievement of winning back to back Intermediate Camogie All Irelands when they overcame the challenge of Salthill/Knocknacarra in Croke Park on Sunday week last. We take great pride in the fact that the majority of the panel are either past or present students of our school.
