The annual North Tipperary Ógra Fianna Fáil Easter Rising Commemoration will take place this year in Templemore.

The Commemoration will take place at 12pm on Easter Sunday, April 5th, 2026, outside the Town Hall in Templemore where former Tipperary Minister, Máire Hoctor, will give the oration.

Máire Hoctor was elected to Dáil Éireann as a Fianna Fáil TD for Tipperary North at the 2002 general election and was re-elected at the 2007 general election.

She is a former member of North Tipperary County Council and Nenagh Town Council.

"We would like to encourage you to attend and to support our annual Ógra Fianna Fáil Commemoration. This would also be a great opportunity to invite or bring along any young people that may be interested. All welcome," the organisers said.
