Roscrea Trail Blazers walk last Friday night was to be the Killavilla Loop outside Roscrea but with the first dry night in a few weeks it was decided to head to the Devil's Bit Loop outside Tempelmore.

It was perfect night for walking under clear skies with great views across Tipperary. Well done to everyone that made the effort.

The group had a very busy 2025 with trips to Madeira, the UK and numerous hikes around Ireland and 2026 is shaping up to be every bit as busy with trips to Austria, Snowdon, island trips, charity walks and numerous challenge walks to be completed.

The walk this Friday night March 6th is the Kinnitty Castle/Glinsk Castle loop outside Kinnitty. A fantastic woodland walk and one not to be missed. Distance: 7.5km, Grade: Easy, Time: two hours. Meeting at Kinnitty Castle carpark at 7pm. Please bring Head/hand torch.

On this Sunday March 8th the group have the third section of the Slieve Bloom Way from Cadamstown to Kinnitty Castle. Contact Cathal on (086) 3399 193.
