Tipperary Community Policing Gardaí visited Borrisokane Community College to speak to students last week.

Community Gardaí Maureen Finnerty and Alison O'Connell visited Borrisokane Community College to speak with 1st Year students about online conduct, group chats, cyberbullying, and Coco's Law.

Coco's Law is the Harassment, Harmful Communications and Related Offences Act 2020, which criminalises the non-consensual sharing of intimate images and the distribution of threatening or grossly offensive communications online.

The session highlighted the importance of using social media responsibly, the legal consequences of harmful online actions, and the need to show respect and empathy in all online interactions.
