Roscrea town
Money is available from the local authority to renovate residential and business premises and Community Centres and the application process is open now
The Municipal District for the Roscrea, Thurles and Templemore area is inviting applications from community groups in the Templemore/Roscrea LEA (Local Electoral Area) who may be eligible to be considered for a grant for the enhancement of residential and business premises and Community Centres.
Enhancement works may include the following, up to a maximum of €2,000:
Painting of residential premises/business shopfronts in carefully selected colours which will compliment the host building and streetscape.
Decluttering and repair of premises - decluttering can include such works as removing unnecessary signage, flagpoles, wiring, etc.
Replacement of signage with traditional wooden fascia with wooden/hand-painted lettering, or contemporary design.

The closing date for receipt of completed application forms is 4.30pm on Friday 31st October 2025.

The closing date for drawdown of approved grants is Friday 5th June 2026.
Grants cannot be drawn down without submission of valid receipts.
