A Garda patrol stopped the men on Bridge Street, Birr.
THREE young men who were acting in a suspicious manner on a street in Birr were searched by the Gardaí recently.
A Garda spokesperson in Birr Garda Station told the Tribune that the men were observed on Bridge Street on Tuesday May 6th last.
"They were searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act and a small quantity of cannabis was found on the person of one of them," the spokesperson said.
