Limerick senior hurling manager John Kiely is celebrating a second win in Tipp territory this summer.
The Galbally man followed up his team's win at the FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles in the Munster final with victory of a different kind.
The five-time Liam McCarthy Cup-winning boss scooped €1,000 in the Tipperary Clubs Draw.
Mr Kiely purchased his ticket through the Lattin-Cullen GAA club, located just across the Limerick-Tipperary border.
The club is famous for nurturing the talent of Tipperary hurling legend Nicky English.
The manager has various links with Tipperary. Up until this summer, he taught at The Abbey School in Tipperary town.
Many of these years were spent as its principal before he moved to the role of vice-principal.
He is currently on a career break from the school.
Elsewhere, former Tipperary football star Colin O'Riordan, who played Aussie Rules football for a time, won in the same draw.
He entered through Killea GAA club, near Templemore.
