FITZPATRICK & Heavey Homes is delighted to announce that it will start the construction of 40 one-, two- and three-bedroom A-rated energy efficient homes on the Banagher Road in Birr in the new year. Construction is set to begin in Q1 2024, having recently received approval from An Bord Pleanala.
The first ten of these much-coveted homes will be offered for private sale in December on Daft.ie, and are expected to be snapped up fast following similar uptake in recent developments by Fitzpatrick and Heavey Homes in Birr, Westmeath and Wicklow.
Each new home is thoughtfully crafted to have contemporary features and spacious, well-lit rooms that are as aesthetically pleasing as they are comfortable - making them ideal for modern family living.
The construction of these new units in Birr comes after Fitzpatrick & Heavey Homes already completed the development of 35 A-Rated houses in the Co Offaly town recently.
Speaking about the highly-anticipated new development, Ciaran Fitzpatrick, CEO of Fitzpatrick and Heavey Homes, said: “We are delighted to continue building homes in Birr. Developments like this are badly needed and meet the significant demand for housing in the locality. We are fully committed to providing housing in Offaly and plan to scale up our operation in that area over the next 18 months.”
Barry Cowen, local TD for the Laois-Offaly constituency said of the announcement: “I welcome the development of these new homes in Offaly, helping to meet the demand for quality housing in the local community.
“Fitzpatrick and Heavey Homes have a fantastic track record for developing quality homes and I am delighted that they continue to invest in Birr.
“I look forward to seeing these new homes delivered in 2024.”
