Seán McLoughlin, from Cloghan, has around 30 million YouTube subscribers and is one of the biggest stars on the platform and in the gaming world.
He has released a new documentary called “How did we get here?”
The 80-minute film was released last week as a ticketed live streaming event on the Moment House platform.
The documentary focuses on Seán's comedy tours of the US and Europe a couple of years ago. He tells jokes and stories on stage, while offstage he talks about his upbringing in Cloghan, revisiting his native village as well as Ballycumber and Athlone.
Nearly a decade ago Seán was unemployed and living alone in a cabin in Ballycumber. To fill the days he created a YouTube account and began uploading videos. The name for his channel was Jacksepticeye and he filmed himself playing, commenting upon, and reacting to video games.
Sean is now based in England from where he entertains his enormous number of fans from across the US and Europe.
His mother Florrie, brothers Malcolm and Simon, and sister Susan are all interviewed in the documentary.
