RAF plane crash to be commemorated in Offaly 100 years on
The public are invited to a commemoration event at Crinkle House where a plaque will be unveiled marking the centenary of an RAF plane crash in Crinkle, Co Offaly.
The plaque will commemorate the day a British RAF plane crashed through the roof of a house in Crinkle in 1919.
Brian Kennedy from Birr Historical Society will give a talk on the event on Thursday, March 28, at 5.30pm at Crinkle House.
This will be followed by a graveside memorial service at 6pm.
Crinkle Tidy Towns say all are welcome at the event.
