Tallies show the percentage of Yes votes varied massively across Offaly in the Abortion Referendum

Offaly Together for Yes release details of the their tally for several areas in the county

The electorate in Offaly voted an emphatic Yes in the Abortion Referendum with 58.1% Yes and 41.9% No.

A total of 24,781 votes were cast for Yes and 17,908 votes were cast for No.

Offaly Together For Yes have revealed details of their tallies for several areas in the county. 

According to those tallies, Edenderry had the highest percentage Yes vote at 68% with Cloghan showing the lowest percentage Yes vote at 50.3%.

The percentage of Yes votes in other areas in the tally were as follows.

Birr at 62.8%; Crinkle 57%; Ferbane 52%; Kilcormac 52%; Banagher 58%; Daingean 57%; Rhode 62%; Portarlington 64%; Clara 60%; Killeigh 59%; Mucklagh 56%; Tullamore 57%; Pullough 53%
