Campaign to save Cistercian College to begin with Birr meeting

A campaign is underway to keep the doors of Cistercian College in Roscrea open following the announcement on Friday that the school would close after 112 years.

The Parents Association of Cistercian College have organised a meeting for 7.30pm this Wednesday night, February 22, in the County Arms Hotel in Birr.

All interested stakeholders who want to look at the viability of the school are invited to attend the meeting.
