Heritage Council to offer advice at the National Ploughing Championships

Would you like to find out more information about buildings, birds, bats and bees? Come along to the Heritage Council stand at the National Ploughing Championships for further details on the Glas Traditional Farm Building Scheme, Heritage in Schools programme and the All Ireland National Pollinator Plan.

How you can bee more bee friendly with a series of How-to-Guides specifically aimed at farms, schools and local communities. For those children and teachers who have just returned to primary school there will be information on our Heritage in Schools Programme through which a panel of heritage specialists visit schools nationwide, bringing heritage to life in the classroom.

Advice to visitors on architectural heritage, wildlife and archaeology on the farm will also be available, as will information on Council’s grant schemes
