Clara company boasts bright smile

CLARA based oral healthcare company Europharma Concepts Ltd were announced as the winners of the Life Sciences Ireland Exporter Industry Award 2011 recently.

CLARA based oral healthcare company Europharma Concepts Ltd were announced as the winners of the Life Sciences Ireland Exporter Industry Award 2011 recently.

Mr Richard Bruton, TD, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, was guest speaker at the ceremony and presented the awards at the Convention Centre in Dublin. The awards recognise the achievements of companies in the pharmaceutical, medical devices and allied sectors.

The nominees for the Life Sciences Ireland Exporter Industry Award (sponsored by Kuehne & Nagel) were Europharma Concepts Ltd and Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Manufacturing Ltd, Swords.

Europharma Concepts Ltd were chosen as winners on the basis of its range of products for oral care, cosmetic and the medical device market.

This wholly Irish-owned company currently employs about 40 people and last year had a turnover in excess of €4.3 million.

The company has just launched a complete, Irish-made, premium brand adult and children’s oral care range for Aldi called Péarla.
