The ‘Yes for Children’ campaign bus will be arriving in Offaly to engage and inform the residents of Birr and Tullamore on the upcoming Children’s Rights Referendum.

This will provide people with opportunity to speak to one of Ireland’s four leading children’s groups (Barnardos, ISPCC, Children’s Rights Alliance, Campaign for Children) about one of the most significant changes to the Irish constitution.

Yes for children is committed to a rigorous and honest debate on the issues that affect the lives of children in Ireland.

The Birr event (organised by the local Foroige club) is on Saturday, October 20 from 2.30 to 6.30pm, while the Tullamore event is the following Saturday, October 27, also from 2.30 to 6.30pm.

Yes for Children is a national campaign led by Barnardos, the Children’s Rights Alliance, the ISPCC and Campaign for Children following the Government announcement that the Children’s Referendum will be held on Saturday, November 10.

The four organisations are working together as Yes for Children, to campaign for a YES vote.
