Ombudsman Emily O’Reilly attends SHS ladies lunch

THE Sacred Heart School, Tullamore Transition Year Business & Enterprise students third annual ladies lunch was hosted by the Bridge House Hotel on Friday, January 20 with guest speaker Emily O’Reilly, the Ombudsman and Information Commissioner.

THE Sacred Heart School, Tullamore Transition Year Business & Enterprise students third annual ladies lunch was hosted by the Bridge House Hotel on Friday, January 20 with guest speaker Emily O’Reilly, the Ombudsman and Information Commissioner.

For the past few weeks Managing Directors of Nom Noms Ltd (Laura Galvin), Ealaín Ltd (Rachel Abraham), Network Ninjas Ltd (Aoife Hehir) and Adrenaline Ltd (Magda Maj) were very busy organising and preparing for the business lunch.

Thanks are in order to all of the teachers involved in preparing for the ladies lunch - business teachers, mini company mentors and social etiquette teachers Ms O’Meara, Ms Egan, Ms Butler, Ms Baggot, Ms Reynolds, Ms Feighery, Ms Griffin, Ms Brady, Ms Lanham and Ms Hand.

Guest speaker Emily O’Reilly explained she was born in Tullamore and attended local school Scoil Mhuire until first class. Her family left Tullamore at this stage but she still has a lot of family connections to the town.
