The largest ‘women only’ marathon in the world is a terrific event and as the majority of the runners raise much needed funds for various charities, it is credit to the organisers and participants that is grows bigger every year.

The group consisted of Paddy Keating, Rose Fox, Aine Graham, Karen Spollen, Aidan Cuskelly, Paul Galvin, Regina Cuskelly, Ann McGuinness, Ann Scally, Carol Fleming, Siobhan Keating, Anita Scally, Tara Keating, Grainne Keating, Kevin & Tara Barry, Ashling Scally, Patricia Keating, J Spollen, Ann Quinn, Dan Daly, Colm Quinn and James Fisher.

They wish to sincerely thank everyone who so generously supported their fund raising efforts in the weeks leading up to the marathon.

See this week’s Offaly Express for more photographic coverage.
