The Tullamore Camogie and GAA Clubs officially launched their fundraising event, Strictly Come Dancing, on Monday night in the Tullamore Court Hotel.

It was easily one of the best launch nights for a fundraising event for quite some time. There was a great crowd present to see the troupe of male and female dancing volunteers perform their group dance routine for the first time in public.

The crowd were not disappointed and they done themselves proud with the performance which was rehearsed over the last three weeks. Then the highlight of the evening was the draw to find out who each of the dancers would be partnering for the big night of Strictly Come Dancing on the bank holiday Sunday October 30, which is also benefiting Mental Health Ireland, Tullamore Branch.

The couples are as follows; Cathy Anne Bell and Kevin Corrigan, Miriam O’Callaghan and Ronnie Byrne, Amy Conway and David Horkan, Louise Gallagher and Shane Kelly, Helen Flynn and Nigel Mannion, Catriona McMorris and Declan Harvey, Catherine McGuire and Alo Lawlor, Rose O’Toole and Diarmuid Guinan, Selena Campbell and Bernard Westman, Claire Beatty and Liam Quinn, Sinead Wyer and Brian Gavin and Samantha Hayes and John Leahy.
