Four students from same Offaly school win university scholarships

FOUR past pupils from one second level school in Offaly have been awarded entrance scholarships to the same university.

The boys, Liam Aubin, Luke Duffy, Cian McConnell and Conor Timmerman completed the Leaving Certificate at Colaiste Choilm, Tullamore and received the UCD scholarships in recognition of their outstanding results in the examination.

While Luke, Cian and Conor were present in person to pick up their scholarship certificates with Colaiste Choilm deputy principal Gearóid O’Regan, Liam was in Mumbai, India where he was volunteering with the Colaiste Choilm India Immersion Project.
