The allocation of National Lottery funding from the Department of Children & Youth Affairs to organisations in Offaly has been warmly welcomed by local Fine Gael Deputy, Marcella Corcoran Kennedy.
Included among those to receive funding from Minister Frances Fitzgerald’s Department were: St. Mary’s Youth and Community Centre which received a grant of €6,000; Ferbane GAA Club which received €3,000; Daingean Youth Club which was granted €1,500 and Arden View Community and Family Resource Centre which received €1,000.
“These funding allocations are a wonderful boost for Clubs and organisations which provide vital services to their local communities and I am delighted to have made strong representations to Minister Fitzgerald in support of applications from my constituency” said Deputy Corcoran Kennedy.
