Banagher librarian, Mary Hynes, has handed in her resignation in light of the recent reduction in opening hours at Banagher library.

She will finish on Saturday April 14. As a show of support for Mary in her final week it has been suggested that the members help to clear the shelves as a community-centred approach to registering local disappointment at the loss of library hours and the dedicated Librarian

Members of the community are asked to bring in a friend and go visit the library between Wednesday 10am-1pm, Thursday/Friday 2pm-5pm, and Saturday 10am-1pm. Your support is needed now as our local services are being eroded.
