Text alert expansion appeal to all of Port

PCDA/Loveport office in conjunction with An Garda Síochána and Muinter Na Tíre are working on setting up a text alert service for the parts of Portarlington and surrounding areas that do not have this system in place.

PCDA/Loveport office in conjunction with An Garda Síochána and Muinter Na Tíre are working on setting up a text alert service for the parts of Portarlington and surrounding areas that do not have this system in place.

The service has proven a great asset in addressing the issues of community care, community safety and community crime prevention.

To achieve this PCDA/Love Port local people to get involved. People who live in an estate has a residence association or a community alert committee and believe a text alert service is something for their area is also welcome to get involved.

To help make Portarlington a safer place to live in the organisers say people can get in contact with them in the PCDA/Loveport office, The Community Centre on the Link Rd or call 085 8568801 between 9.30am and 5pm or email us on info@portarlington.ie or just message on our Facebook page Loveport.
