Judges revealed for Tullamore ‘Stars in Their Eyes’

The trio are Father Sean Heaney, Regina McCarthy, Tullamore Stage School and Lorraine Wynne, Midland Drama School.

Tom Whelan, Parish Administrator explained, “Each Judge will give their comment after the contestant has performed, and they will also give a score out of 10. However, it will be up to the audience who will win.”

Tom went on to say, “A tenth contestant has also been confirmed, Rebecca Bell. You will have to come along on the night to see which pop star she will be impersonating.’

Tom added, “The ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ fundraiser is based on the well known television competition with most popular host, Matthew Kelly. Each contestant will be transformed into the famous singer they are going to impersonate. The show takes place in the Tullamore Court Hotel on Friday 17th May at 8pm.”

The contestants are: Fr Shane Crombie, Robbie Spain, Karen Flanagan, Kotryna Kozlovskyte, Gina Nugent, Tom Maher & Jim Smyth, David Mills, Glenn Ryan, John Conroy and Rebecca Bell. You can sponsor your favourite contestant and support the parish centre on www.mycharity.ie/event/starsintheireyes.

“There is huge talent in the contestant line up and each performance will be very entertaining. This show will appeal to all members of the community. Tickets are selling very quickly now so make sure you have yours! Tickets can be bought from the Parish Centre or at reception in the Tullamore Court Hotel. Adults cost €10, Students/children/OAP’s cost €5, family tickets (2 adults & 2 children) only €25,” Tom concluded.
