Durrow gears up for Pattern Day

The day kicks off with First Communion Mass at 10am and a concelebrated mass followed by a procession to the well at 12 noon.

Fun for all the family starts at 3pm in Durrow GAA Field with sports such as races plus wheelbarrow, three legged race, sack race, mother’s race, father’s race, hook the bottle, wellie throwing, Aunt Sally, number of peges and a penalty shoot out.

Refreshments will be on sale during the day in the field.

Two football matches will take place and will see Durrow NS boys take on Ballinamere NS boys and Durrow NS girls take on the girls from Ballinamere NS.

Admission for adults is €5 and children are free.

For those who like a gamble, please come along to the Cards in the Durrow Hall at 9.30pm, when a raffle will also take place.
