MULTIPLE Sclerosis (MS) Ireland’s local branches in Mullingar, Athlone, Longford and Tullamore are organising a joint MS Information event in the Mullingar Park Hotel, Mullingar, on Friday, March 23 at 7pm.
Members of public are invited along with People with MS, their carers and also their friends.
The topic is ‘Improving Lifestyle for People with MS’ and there is a panel of expert speakers:
Lifestyle Strategies to Combat Multiple Sclerosis (Conor Kerley, Dietitian & Scientific Nutritionist); Sexuality and MS (Mary Leonard, MS Ireland Midlands’ Regional Coordinator) and
Traditional Chinese Medicine Approach to Multiple Sclerosis (Dr Ling Cai, Chinese Acupuncture Health Care).
Medical research is making great progress with regards to Multiple Sclerosis (MS). However it is the quality of life which people with MS want to improve as much as possible.
With no two persons having the same symptoms due to the complexity of Multiple Sclerosis, different approaches to improve the lifestyle have to be assessed individually.
Friday’s event is one of several planned to present available approaches to a wider audience,
Tea and coffee will be served after the presentations and Q&As.
