Offaly clean up at Camogie Awards

The Camogie Association Media Awards and Mick Dunne Memorial Award recipients for 2013 were presented in Croke Park last Sunday with Offaly very much to the fore.

The Camogie Association Media Awards and Mick Dunne Memorial Award recipients for 2013 were presented in Croke Park last Sunday with Offaly very much to the fore.

Tullamore Camogie Club receive the Camogie Association Special Project accolade following an extensive line-up of events during the course of the last year to celebrate their 40th anniversary.

Midlands 103FM was named as the Mick Dunne Local Radio of the Year while Offaly PRO Damian Moran picked up the Mick Dunne Memorial Award for PRO of the Year.

Offaly County Board Secretary Mary Spollen picked up her award as Offaly Volunteer of the Year.

Other awards went to the Clare Champion for Local newspaper of the Year while Brendan Donnelly of Dublin won the Photograph of the Year award for the second year in a row.

The Camogie Association Media Award for Social Media went to the Clare Camogie Board while the Mick Dunne Memorial award for Match Programmes went to Armagh Camogie Board.

This is the eight year of the awards which honour the contributions of local and national press and volunteers to the promotion and development of camogie.
