Past pupils bid farewell to Colaiste Choilm

COLAISTE Choilm held a very successful re-union night in the school on Friday night last.

The night was organised for past pupils, teachers and friends to visit the school one last time before it is demolished during the summer in preparation for the move to Colaiste Choilm’s new state of the art building in September.

The night itself was extremely enjoyable, with a large crowd enjoying the friendly banter and catching up with old classmates and reminiscing about their years spent in the school.

The night began, with a welcome in the school gym by Deputy Principal Noel Mc Manamly followed by a blessing for the past, present and future from Fr Patrick School Chaplain and a final word from school Principal Colin Roddy.

Everyone was then invited to walk through the school, revisiting all the memories and when this was finished refreshments were served.

Overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all and it was a fitting end to conclude another chapter in the history of CBS/ Colaiste Choilm in Tullamore.
