Offaly grandmother Annie Scully has won €35,000 on the National Lottery Winning Streak Game Show.
Annie from Croghan Hill scooped her winnings on January 4. Annie purchased the Scratch Card but missed her named being called out onthe show as her family were visiting her at the time.
Her neighbour Therese phoned and said ‘congratulations – you are on next week’s show’ and then Annie said they all had a wonderful, delightful night!
She is a member of her local Croghan Hill Active Retirement Group. She enjoys all crafts, especially knitting and crochet. She is very keen on painting and attends art classes.
Annie is a widow. Her husband Jack passed away six years ago. She has five children – Mary, Kathleen, Doreen, John and Noelle. She has twelve grandchildren.
Annie says she has never won anything before in her life. She feels lucky because her family are very good to her.
