A CANCER fundraiser is planned at The Hoppers for June 30 & July 1 to raise funds for The Irish Cancer Society.

To achieve this there are several activities planned across the weekend, all designed to provide plenty of interactive fun too.

Saturday includes;

“Hike D Pike” – a sponsored fun walk around the village with plenty of characters and costumes to match.

These will be accompanied by a novelty “push/ride” where all types of small decorated vehicles and escorts will add to the occasion.

A “Pink Night” with Music from Martin Goulding.

Sunday; The Hoppers Safari Race during the afternoon is a participating fun race with very little effort required. This is one for all ages and should provide competitive excitement.

“Shave or Dye” will follow; the ever popular Radio 102FM endorsed activity will change appearances for sure.

A raffle will take place this night with a large selection of prizes to be won.

Music will be provided by a number of artists during the afternoon donating there skills for the cause.

Volunteers/sponsors are required for the Safari Fun Race, race cards for this are available and the “jockey’s & trainers” for each race are required to take part, remember there is very little effort required here!
