FIGURES released today show that nine patients were waiting on trolleys at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore on January 2.
The Trolley Watch figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Association were released at noon today and also show that seven patients were waiting at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Portlaoise while six were waiting at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
Nationally 255 patients were waiting with the largest backlog being at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where the figures show that 32 patients were awaiting treatment.
