Roscrea's Main Street has received a major facelift in recent days with renewal works carried out on repairing the surface of the Main Street.

Local traders in the town centre had repeatedly highlighted the issue with the local authority warning it presented a trip hazard for people shopping in the town centre.

The work comes soon after the completion of an extensive cycle and foot path along the southern end of the bypass from the Parkmore to Nenagh Road roundabouts.
