‘Comet ISON: Comet of the Century?’ is the next public lecture hosted by Midlands Astronomy Club on Tuesday October 1 by Mr. Seanie Morris, MAC Secretary.

‘Comet ISON: Comet of the Century?’ is the next public lecture hosted by Midlands Astronomy Club on Tuesday October 1 by Mr. Seanie Morris, MAC Secretary.

It takes place in the Presbyterian Hall, High Street, Tullamore at 8pm. Seanie will take a look at Comet ISON, which is tipped to be a big naked eye comet this November, and also a background to the origins of comets.

All welcome, admission is only €2. The latest edition of the Club’s magazine, Réalta and this month’s SkyMaps will be available (all inlcuded in admission). See www.midlandsastronomy.com for more.
